Fan with flowers and a landscape, 19th–20th century

Hand-painted and decorated gauze fan with carved and openwork bone ribs. The design, with its asymmetrical composition, is central to the piece: the left side features a delicate chinoiserie-style landscape painting (a river pagoda, bridges, and birds in flight), while the right side is saturated with a vibrant, textured bouquet of peonies and wildflowers. It shows minor imperfections due to breakage and restoration.
