Glazed Ceramic Bottle "Scholar Among Peonies", 20th Century

Cylindrical ceramic bottle with tall neck and slightly flared rim. Decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with additional red enamels over glaze, depicting a scholar among peonies and vegetal elements. The neck features vertical plantain leaves and a wave band at its base. The ceramic body is exposed at the unglazed base. A small flaw is visible at the mouth.
