Description.

Watercolor on paper. The woman subtly holds a deck of playing cards in her left hand, which is turned toward the floor. Her face, seen in profile, suggests that she is reading her fortune, pondering her destiny, or performing a private card reading.  She wears a loose-fitting blouse in a bright reddish or coral hue and a long, voluminous skirt in shades of ochre, brown, and greenish tones that spreads across the floor, forming the base of the composition. Her dark hair is simply pulled back at the nape of her neck. Signed in the lower right corner.
