Description.
Ritual mask carved from white jade in an elongated triangular shape, representing a stylized face with a stern expression. The design features angular eyebrows, pierced eyes, and a simplified mouth, with incised geometric details typical of archaic stylization. The stone is milky white with natural brown veining visible along the lower edge. These types of objects are associated with ceremonial use and funerary contexts during the Shang period. Shang dynasty (c. 1600–1046 BCE) or later.
