Johnson & Bye Champion ‘Compressed Air Gun’

Johnson & Bye Champion air pistol (1876 to c. 1893), based on the 1876 patent by Iver Johnson & Martin Bye, marked as such on the top of the barrel. At the rear of the barrel there is a spring-loaded cocking handle. Currently for decorative use.
