José Luis Checa Galindo "Playa de Valencia"

Four paintings by Luis Checa, This Valencian painter was born in Valencia in 1950, a self-taught artist who transmits that impressionistic brushstroke full of light. At the age of twenty-five he was already painting on the docks of the port of Valencia, when he was allowed to join of the group "Pont de Fusta", so called because most of its members met around the old wooden point on the Turia, the group was formed among others by: Jorge Guillemot who would show the technique to Checa, Máñez, Estellés, Moya, López Tébar, Arnedo, Vázquez Castells, among others.

His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions both in Spain and in countries such as Italy, Canada and in various cities in the United States.
