Large-format tapestry depicting a hunting scene from the series ‘Les Chasses de Maximilien’, featuring hunters on foot and on horseback, with a hunting dog in the foreground. The palette is sober, dominated by ochre and gold tones. The original series, designed by Bernard van Orley (16th century), illustrated the hunts of Charles V's court in the forests of Brussels.
