Pair of vases “Landscape with poem”, Qing dynasty

Pair of glazed porcelain vases with a refined design. They have an elongated cylindrical shape, with a straight body that widens slightly at the top. The decorative design is highlighted by a traditional Chinese landscape scene, depicting gently sketched mountains in gray and cloudy tones, with trees in greens and reds adding warmth. In the foreground, classical style buildings are harmoniously intertwined with the landscape and small characters sailing in traditional boats. At the top of each vase is a poem. At the base of the vases appears the seal 大清同治年制. Qing dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
