Pedro Cámara (1936–2017) “Dryland Field”

Oil on panel. The composition depicts a vast expanse of arid, sandy earth in ochre tones, with subtle marks and textures that suggest tilled soil. Immediately behind the ruins, a strip of low, deep green vegetation breaks the chromatic monotony of the earth. It stands out for its thick impasto technique, using a palette of earth tones and ochres. Signed “pedro cámara” in the lower right corner.
