Polychrome porcelain bowl, ‘Children's Games’, with Chenghua mark

Small fine porcelain bowl decorated with wucai enamels on a white background. The exterior decoration shows a continuous scene of children playing in a beautiful garden. Inside, in the centre of the bowl, there is a circular medallion with the figure of a child carrying a flag. On the base there is a six-character seal ‘大明成化年制’ in blue underglaze.
