Description.
Glazed porcelain with polychrome decoration. The centre is decorated with the coat of arms of the British South Africa Company (BSAC), featuring a lion holding an elephant tusk and flanked by two antelopes. The coat of arms incorporates British colonial iconography. The rim features undulating garlands of flowers and leaves, framed by geometric motifs typical of the late 19th century.
