Porcelain plate ‘Royal Coat of Arms, France’, 20th century

Glazed porcelain, with a circular body and lobed rim. It features the royal coat of arms of France, comprising three fleurs-de-lis and the royal crown, surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Holy Spirit. Around this are four circular medallions depicting fans and flowers of Oriental inspiration. The rim is decorated with a border of plant scrolls and flowers in gold.
