Porcelain plate ‘Royal Coat of Arms of France’, 20th century

Polychrome and gilded porcelain. The centre is decorated with the royal coat of arms of France, featuring three fleurs-de-lis and surmounted by the royal crown. It is surrounded by the collar of the Order of the Holy Spirit. The decoration is completed by a circular border of geometric and plant motifs, and a border around the edge combining garlands, flowers and symbols of Eastern inspiration.
