Silver mesh alms bag, late 20th century

A clutch bag or handbag crafted from fine silver chain mail. It features a hinged clasp with a sinuous profile and spherical push-button fastenings, adorned with embossed flowers and dragonflies on the upper section. The lower edge is finished with openwork pendants in the shape of rosettes, and it has a chain handle at the top.
