Lot 38.
Description.

A beautiful jade vase with lid, in pale celadon, with a wooden stand. The body of the vase is clover-shaped, with broad, tapering shoulders as it descends to the foot and base. The base is carved in a perfect trefoil shape.

Both parts of the body and the sides of the vase are finely carved in floral decoration, with lotus blossoms at maturity, seen at the beginning of the base, which is carved from a pool of water. An elegant ring carved from the same jade hangs from the lower part of the vase. On the lid there is also the same border that crowned the lower body, which starts in the form of a trefoil, decreasing in height and ending in a beautiful mature lotus flower, which makes it easy to open for use.
