Carved bamboo brush pot 'Sages', Qing dynasty

Craved bamboo piece with irregular profile, widening towards the mouth with one side flattened and the other slightly curved. On the front part, there's a large scene framed by large flowering trees and rocks that serve as seats and tables for the many characters. There are also children and sages in different postures, some carrying big walking sticks, others playing to board games and even reading a parchment. The back shows the natural, undecorated wood. Qing Dynasty (1644 and 1912) 

It has patina on the relief.
