Glazed ceramic bowl “Oil Mirror”, Song Style

An open-shaped ceramic bowl with slightly oblique walls, supported on a small ring-shaped foot. The piece has a characteristic dark-brown glaze with irregular yellow ochre flecks, an effect known as “oil-mirror” or “油滴釉”, typical of Jizhou kiln production. The glaze covers both the inside and outside of the bowl, leaving the rim of the foot unglazed, where the light-beige ceramic paste is visible.
