Pedro Orrente "Moses and the water of the rock"

Pedro Orrente, known as "the Spanish Bassano", was a very successful artist, especially in themes of the old testament and lush landscapes. He was born in Murcia but he was in different Spanish cities such as Toledo, Valencia and Madrid. In 1605 he travels to Italy, Venice and it can be thought that he was in the workshop of Leandro Bassano. His works are in the Prado Museum, Hermitage of St. Petersburg, In Vienna, the Metropolitan of New York, Fine Arts of Bilbao, in Valencia. etc.
